Week of March 2, 2026: Windsor Officer Who Broke into Ex-Girlfriend’s Home Terminated for Cause
Correction: As of March 9, POST has removed a "terminated for cause" action uploaded to their database on March 7 regarding Erin Parton. According to Boulder Police Department, Parton was not terminated.
Welcome to my weekly sum-up. Every Monday I send out a short summary of the last week’s officers that have landed on Colorado’s Peace Officer Standards and Training public database of law enforcement misconduct and actions. They are not necessarily all actions that have happened in the last week, but those that have been added, and consist of any other context I could find.
This week had a slew of updates to the POST Database all on March 7: multiple updates on previous officers from over the last month along many new terminations and resignations

- Arrested on Jan. 25 for charges of second degree burglary of a dwelling, harassment by striking, shoving or kicking, false imprisonment and domestic violence
- Seabra’s ex-girlfriend states in the arrest affidavit that he entered her apartment while she slept — even as she changed the code to enter — pleaded with her to “work things out,” and refused to leave when she asked. She says Seabra grabbed her arms to help her stand, then blocked first her bedroom door, then the door to her apartment, preventing her from leaving. Seabra states he did not block her from moving freely and there was no physical altercation.

- 321.5.5(b): Attendance, Communication Violations
