Week of February 9th: Denver Officer Charged with Harassment and Douglas County Sheriff Deputy Arrested for DUI
Welcome to my weekly sum-up. Every Monday I send out a short summary of the last week’s officers that have landed on Colorado’s Peace Officer Standards and Training public database of law enforcement misconduct and actions. They are not necessarily all actions that have happened in the last week, but those that have been added, and consist of any other context I could find.
This week, almost half of the officers posted were for criminal charges.

Andrew Cirone (CO-6446-6058)

The internal investigation revealed criminal elements, a criminal investigation was started, and found that Cirone “had failed on multiple occasions to adhere to standard investigative procedures outlined by FCPS policy and Colorado Revised Statutes.”
- Cirone was put on paid administrative leave on Dec. 30. and turned himself into Larimer County Jail on Feb. 4.
